Based at 29-35 Ripon Road , Blackpool:
We open at 1pm inviting people to engage in a range of activities available at the centre in a safe and friendly environment. Throughout the day tea and biscuits are available and a hot meal is provided at 6pm.
Our services include an internet cafe, movies and documentaries, a well stocked library of books and various board games and a clothes store providing clothing, blankets and sleeping bags to people in need.
The Project Coordinator works closely with a number of statutory organisations and agencies, signposting individuals to services they provide. The Project Coordinator also works closely with a number of Landlords in order to help individuals with obtaining sustainable accommodation.
If people need help on a one to one basis they can telephone 07763 800352 and the Project Coordinator will arrange to see them during the week by appointment.
During the evening we have a time of discussion that may include testimonies, a short bible study or watching a DVD.
This is available for people who are interested in finding out more about the Christian faith, or who wish to move on in their faith and begin to develop it in a constructive way.
As well as providing help to individuals and families with practical needs such as food, something to drink, clothes blankets, toiletries and furniture, we may also be able to assist with other matters you need help with.
In addition to the programme of events and activities taking place throughout the week, either at the Community Resource Centre or on the Bus, we provide the opportunity for one-to-one assistance with the following:
