Helping Hand is a Blackpool based Christian charity, covering the Fylde Coast that assists the church to respond to the needs of people who have problems, such as drug and alcohol misuse, poverty and homelessness and those who are not integrated with society.
Our main aim is to help our clients back into society by working in partnership with organisations, landlords and employers to provide emotional support, accommodation and training.
Our activities include;
The Charities Projects: 'The Bus', Drop-In, ReVive.
The Social Enterprises: Our Charity Shops, Window Cleaning, Paper, Textile, Plastic and Can recycling, Books and Clothing recycling.
'For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
